Lauren Ward, FNP-C, ACNPC-AG, Joins FryeCare Lung Center
Board-certified family nurse practitioner to provide primary care in Hickory

Ward joins us with a strong interest in pulmonary medicine and a deep commitment to providing exceptional patient centered care.
As a nurse practitioner, Lauren will be working very closely with our pulmonary specialist physicians to diagnose, treat and manage a wide range of respiratiory conditions. She has a special interest in asthma, COPD and sleep apnea. She will also play a key role in patient education, chronic disease management, and collaborative care with our multidisciplinary team.
“Every detail a patient shares is important,” Ward said. “Listening attentively is a core principle in providing holistic care. Each patient interaction should be approached with empathy, respect, and a commitment to provide the best possible care.”
Ms. Ward completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Bellarmine University, in Louisville, KY. She then completed her master's in both Adult/Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of South Alabama
